Leear looked at her and laughed "Shot down in flames" He picked up his knife and fork and began eating, he was abit gutted now, he generinly wanted her too kiss him back, but oh well, another time, another day maybe. Hell have to see.

Avery looked at him for a moment before shaking her head, "I usually don't kiss someone the first day I meet them but, you never know with the day still only beginning." She took a bite of her burger and some of the fries before looking around the resturant. She smiled as she took another bite of her burger. |

Leear looked back at her and laughed, eating some more of his food but mainly drinking his coffee, he never ate much when he was on a case anyway "How long you been an agent?" He asked her smiling.

Avery looked at him and then looked down at her food, "Four years and I was a officer for a year prior. What about you, how long have you been an agent?" She continued to look at her food, eating a fry here and there. "You should eat more, you'll feel much better once you finish your meal," she said, now looking at him and his plate. She moved her hand toward his, trying to see if she would be able to at least take a little off his mind. |

He took her hand and smiled "Two years, I became an agent at 20, I know its young, my dad used to be quite high up in the force, I think that helped quite abit" He smiled at her and ate a few more bits of his dinner "What was your first case?" He actually wanted to know, he didnt read anything about her, he proberly should of when he heard about her, but he didnt, he didnt care, better to ask them.

Avery looked at him, "My first case ever was involving a child, she had been hit by a car while riding a bike on the side walk. My first case as an agent involved a married couple and a drug scandal." She looked down at her food for a moment, replaying the scenes of both the cases in her mind, she had lost the majority of her appetite. She looked back up and put a fake smile on, though it really didn't seem fake. |

He smiled back "You always wanted to be an agent?" He asked smiling at her, trying to change the subject without it being obvious he was, he knew he asked the wrong quetion, hopefully she'd forget about it.

"No, I didn't want to be one but, it is what I am and I am happy with it," she smiled, sliding out of the both. She stood up and looked at him, stepping forward to give him a kiss on the cheek. "Don't worry about asking the wrong questions," she whispered into his ear as she stepped back. She sat back down in her spot and looked at him, waiting for his reaction. |
