Avery looked down for a moment, "They're ok if they last but, it is a personal hell if they don't work out." She was quiet for a moment and the smiled. She tried to refrain from laughing, "Coffee company huh? Well I must say it would definately be interesting." She looked at him, her smile bright. She liked this new partner of her's even if it meant denying it to him. She placed her hands in her pockets, her eyes watching the sidewalk in front of her.
Leear looked at her and laughed, he had never had a partner before, it was nice, Leear put his hands into his pockets too and started fiddling with his keys, a strange little OCD he had developed lately. Leear turnt a corner and kept on walking "What do you want to eat when we get there?"

Avery looked at him and shrugged, "What would you suggest?" She didn't exactly know what she was in the mood for but, she did know one thing... she was starved. She looked around for a moment, then followed Leear. She walked behind him, staying quiet for a moment but, not for a moment too long... it would be just awkward. "So what do you do for fun?" she asked, walking behind him.
Leear looked at her and shrugged "I dunno what you like, I'd suggest something cheap though this place is fucking expensive" Leear smiled at her, he didnt know how to answer what he does for fun, he didnt do an awful lot "Work, clubbing, watch TV, predominatly work at the moment though what with this case an all" He didnt want to mention the case he had to at the moment though, not much choise was there? (Sorry its not very good)

Avery looked at him, "You're a big help... not. Besides, I am paying and I say you can have whatever you please... just don't get something extremely expensive." She opened the door for herself walking into the building and wondered what they had that would satisfy her hunger. She smiled and searched for something on menu that would do the trick. She searched it unphased by the lack of her interest in what they had to offer.
She sighed not seeing much that interested her. She shrugged and waited for Leear to decide before ordering their meal.
Leear looked at the menu and started reading through "Fish is crap, the burgers quite nice, have what ever you want, its all good, Ill have a burger and chips with a lager please" He winked at her and put the menu down, "What you having?" He asked her smiling at her intently waiting for her to order.

Avery shrugged, "I guess I have a burger and fries." She smiled and ordered their food, making sure to get everything, "... oh and a vanilla shake." She looked at Leear and opened her mouth to say something but, failed to say a word.
Leear looked at her and smiled "What you do for fun then Avs?" He didnt realy know how to short down the name Avery, this was just an attempt, hopefully it stuck, he looked at the waitress and smiled at her "Ill have the regular and a coffee please, and get something for yourself" The regular was just salmon and chips, he put a 10doller bill into her apron, he looked at Avery and smiled "Well...?" He ignored the fact she opened her mouth but said nothing, he didnt bother asking what she was going to say, no point.

Avrey raised a single brow, "It is AJ if you don't want to say Avery." She looked at the waitress and smiled, "I just have a burger, fries and a coke. Thanks." She looked at the table for a moment before glancing back up at Leear's face. "I don't know. It really depends on my mood but, I do like to workout... I do it a lot when I am stuck here on a job," she said, answering his question.
"Interesting, I work out alot too" He smiled at her as the drinks got here and he took a mouthfull of his coffee and then swalloed hard before suddenly blurting out "Fuck that was hot, thats not even funny! Shit hot!" He began bouncing on the seat like a 4 year old "Any hobbies?" He asked laughing as he continued to bounce on the spot/

Avery looked at him, no pity for him. "Well it is directly out of the pot and if you didn't want people to laugh, why did you do it?" she asked, place her glass to her lips to take a drink. She sat the glass back down and watched him, "My interests? Well I am sure being apart of the FBI had to be an interest. I have several interests within the justice system and some interests in art and nature. What are your interests?" She didn't give any specifics but, that was just to avoid talking about herself.
Leear looked at her and smiled "Sport, waiting for the monthly updates on my son, drink, more drink, eating here. Ive lost lost faith in the legal system, when people like Raul Pena can walk free without being caught, its fucked up. You looking for a guy in your life at the moment?" He asked drinking some more of drink, he wanted to know if he was in with a shot.

Avery shook her head, "I am not looking but, if I come across one then, I will surely give him a try." She took another drink of her cola before looking at people with the building. "You can't go around saying this Rual Pena is guilty if you have no hard evidence on him. If your gut is telling you, so what, you can't build a case off it," she said, in a calm manner. She seemed hardly phased by the degree of the case but, in honestly it made her feel the same as Leear about catching the guy. She watch the waitress bring their food to their table.
Leear smiled at her and put his hand over hers, knowing she felt the same as him by her body language "Well catch him. Try not to become to attached to the victim, dont get too into this case, youll end up doing what I do" He gave a soft smile and leant in too kiss her.

Avery looked at him and shook her head, "I want to catch the killer not the man who you think is guilty." She pulled her hand out from under his and leaned back in the seat, ignoring the fact that he was trying to kiss her. If it weren't for the fact that she was focused on solving the case, she probably would have kissed him but, even then, she'd be hesitant. After all, she had only just met him may an hour prior. She looked at the food now placed before them, "Eat your food before it gets cold."
