The Prince's Folly was not typically a place you would find Luciano Santapaola at if you were looking for him. He was never a big fan of a woman demoralizing herself by swinging around a pole a few times so a guy could still a single down her G string. He knew it was a safe place though, especially for meeting members of the family in the VIP section. He was friendly with the security and had found a few of his own crew guys there in the past working as bouncers. He was strictly there for business even though he seemed dressed more casually then usual. He was rarely seen without a suit and today was one of the only exception. He wore a pair of kaki pants with a Tom Ford brown leather jacket over a button down white shirt. He walked through to the back and into the VIP area, greeting the two security guards that allowed him access. He was meeting Giovanni tonight for a drink and a discussion that he had been meaning to have with him for sometime over issues that had been brought to his attention including his brother-in-law and Frank Ventresca. He slid into the booth and relaxed back against the plush leather seating as he waited for the don to arrive.

* I know I changed his surname, but since today is the fortieth anniversary since my great-grandfather, Pasquale DeFazio, died I decided to change Gio's surname to honor him.
Don Giovanni DiLeonardo entered The Prince's Folly, and checked his watch. Half past nine he thought, and he wondered why Luciano would want to see him this late, but no matter, Luciano had said it was a matter of importance so Giovanni came. Giovanni nodded at the Bouncer who quickly stepped aside to let him pass, and Giovanni entered the club. He wasn't suprised to still see so many patrons in the place, for most of them were married men who had to "Work overtime." Giovanni scoffed quietly at this, and he ignored many of the dancers who smiled and waved to him. He didn't mean to be rude to those women who were working for him and bringing money in his pocket, he just had more important things on his mind. He knew where Luciano would be...the VIP section, and that is where Giovanni headed. Two burly DiLeonardo soldiers protecting the VIP area, stepped aside and allowed Giovanni to enter. He saw Luciano lounging in a chair, and smiling asked "Santo Luc, what is it you needed from me?"

(Thats a good reason if i've ever heard one)
Luc stood as the Don entered,"Thank you for meeting me, I'll be brief so I don't take up your time." He said as he took his seat once more. A waitress walked through to take the two gentlemen's orders. Luciano ordered a scotch and then began to speak. " I wanted to speak to you about Frank Ventresca. I should have expressed this earlier to you that he can no longer be trusted. Ever since the problem with your brother in law has come to attention of the family, Ventresca hasn't been entirely honest with you about where he stands." He told him.

Giovanni replied without looking at the waitress "Get me a glass of Shipwrecked 1907 Heidsieck Champagne." The waitress nodded and then left to fill thier orders he looked at Luciano and said with a smile "A bottle of that champagne costs $275,000." Then he shrugged and added "Why not?" then he began to listen to Luciano as he sat down in a plush black leather chair, "I wanted to speak to you about Frank Ventresca. I should have expressed this earlier to you that he can no longer be trusted. Ever since the problem with your brother in law has come to attention of the family, Ventresca hasn't been entirely honest with you about where he stands." Giovanni frowned and leaned forward asked "Really? Tell me everything you know."

" Ventresca approached me to make a deal, a deal that would involve removing you from the picture all together.By coming to you, I hope its made aware that I stand with you. I'm not someone to be bought, Frank on the other hand is. Ventresca is a scheming and conniving man who is only looking out for his future role. That day he came by the house with one of Falcone's goons was no accident, he knew who the guy was the whole time. There's a lot of talk about Paulo Falcone and his gang, are you ready for that?" He asked, being quite frank with Giovanni. The waitress returned with their drinks, he took his eagerly and drank before slipping her a few hundred bills as a tip.

Giovanni listened and remained stony face, when Luciano finished Giovanni leaned back in his chair and thought for a second. Then he began to talk "So, your telling me Frank Ventresca is plotting to kill me? After all we have been through? I thought alliances forged in Sicily never die, it appears perhaps I was wrong. I am glad you came to me Luciano, but you also tell me Paolo Falcone is involved. Paolo is married to my blood, he knows the ways, even though he is Calabrese and not Sicilian. But if what you say is true, then I must prepare for Paolo's involement as well. Luciano are you prepared to forever cement yourself a place in the DiLeonardo family?"

"My allegiances originally were with Ventresca, but once he made it apparent to me that my family could be at jeopardy by breaking bonds with him, I knew what I had to do. I would do anything to protect my family, I feel like your a man who thinks similarly. I would be honored to earn a place in the DiLeonardo family." He said earnestly as he drank again from his scotch, allowing the liquor to run down the back of his throat and heat up his chest.

Giovanni nodded and replied "Luciano, if all goes according to plan and you were in fact truthful with me, then I forsee you as my Underboss. But that is for another time, first we must deal with Ventresca and Paolo. First is Frank Ventresca, Paolo we shall not touch unless he is physically seen being involved. I cannot harm Crocetta by the loss of a husband, at least not yet. Where shall we start?"

"Ventresca is very quick to catch on to things that involve plotting against him. What would be best for us to confront him with, is to bring him to the pick up of the heroin shipment. He will reveal himself to me in privacy about the hit against you, I am sure of this. We need him though, taking him out would be wrong since he has the connections and information about the movement in the Falcone clan." He said as he thought it over in his head.

Giovanni agreed. Perhaps he wasn't giving Luciano enough credit, he was smarter than he acted. "That is true Luc. Very true, Frank was always sharp. Even back in Sicily when we were boys he was sharp, always noticed when someone was trying to pull the wool over his eyes. But do we really need Ventresca? He is more of a liability than anything. Paolo might realized he was turned and kill him anyways. But the call is yours on this, because as you say, he will open up to you because he believes you are one of his so called 'Co-conspirators.' "

"As long as Ventresca doesn't get wind of this conversation and nobody gets involved past you or I, I can't see how Paolo would get wind of the situation." He knew that if he could get Frank alone, he would be able to talk to him and maybe arrange for him to meet with him somewhere to close the deal on taking out the Don. He could have him arrive and then have Giovanni and his men waiting for him when he got there. They needed him for now though so they could get the most information that he had to offer. Without making it noticeable that they were keeping tabs on the Falcone, Ventresca was the easiest way to get their information willingly.

"That is true" Giovanni muttered "but the question is can you kill him? I don't want him breathing a second longer than he has too. I want him gone. Buried." Giovanni picked up his glass again and took a long sip, waiting for Luc's reply.
(Sorry it's so short).

"Thats not the biggest of my worries, thats the easiest part for me sir." He told him with a smirk. He had been a hired hit man before coming to the Dileonardo family. He had worked all over from europe to new york, it was the way that he had finally gotten noticed by the new york families.

Giovanni slowly lowered his glass and said in Italian "Ascoltami Luciano. Non voglio Ventresca il corpo ad essere trovati. Se il suo corpo viene trovato, sarà punto di tutte le dita per me. Non mi chiedete perché, ma ogni volta che qualcuno di avere assassinato in questa città, ho accusato." then Giovanni shrugged and looking at the long legged waitress, asked politely "How about another round for me and my friend?" then Giovanni pulled out a roll of hundred dollar bills, and he whispered something in the waitresses ear which made her giggle and allow him to place five of those hundred's down her shirt. Giovanni watched her walk out and then turned his attention back to Luciano. "That's good Luc. So tell me how is your family?"
TRANSLATION OF ITALIAN PHRASE: Listen to me Luciano. I don't want Ventresca's body to ever be found. If his body is found, all fingers will point to me. Don't ask me why, but every time someone get's murdered in this city, I get blamed.

"Nemmeno il dentista sarà in grado di identificare il suo corpo. Non vi sarà alcuna traccia di lei o io che ha qualcosa a che fare con la sua morte." He replied with a smirk and a nod of his head, "Family is good, my wife and boys are out in the hamptons home while things are tense in the city. How is Serafina and the boys doing?" He replied.
**Translation:Not even the dentist will be able to identify his body. There will be no trace of you or I having something to do with his death.
