Raul pressed the towel against the wounds and gritted his teeth for a few moments more. He probably needed stitches, but he wasn't going to seek any professional help. "No! No hospitals!" he snapped, making sure his voice was stern, although it seemed a little exhausted, it was still evident that he wasn't going to a hospital no matter what. Hospitals asked too many questions, it would be too risky to go there. The Spaniard would have to make do.
Keeping pressure on the wound, he made his way to a sofa and slowly lowered himself down onto it to sit. Pulling the towel away briefly, he took a look at the cuts. It seemed there was still a small shard of glass lodged in there, which had opened up one of the cuts when she had squeezed it. Raul knew a guy that often patched up the DiLeonardo soldiers and associates after their battles, maybe he would have to give him a call...

Kristen frowned and released him when he shouted. She bit her lip and just stared at the bloody opening on his arm.
"Wait here." She whispered, turning timidly away and moving into the kitchen area. She got into a cabinet and pulled out her first aid kit. Inside there were tweezers.
Going back to Raul, she sat down and silently beckoned him to sit beside her. Although she didn’t like the idea, she'd get the glass out of his arm if he let her and bandage him up as best she could...

Raul felt somewhat bad for shouting at her, but he figured it would be excusable considering his current situation. When she disappeared and came back shortly after with the med kit, he didn't hesitate to react to her motioning and moved closer to her, his wounded arm exposed. "I didn't want you to see my like this..." he managed to say, though it was too late now he thought. If it meant not going to the hospital, Raul didn't mind how he was fixed up - he'd been in some worse situations before and recovered after either patching himself up or using some unlicensed, backstreet stitch to do it...
((Sorry about the wait, been busy))

Kristen glanced up at him and might have read his thought for she said.
"Too late now..."
She didnt know what to do. He needed a hospital, and she knew she couldnt stich him up.
Taking his bloodied arm in one hand, she pulled out her reading glasses and sighed as she started to carefully pull the shards of glass out of his arm...

Raul wondered how he would explain this. The truth? He didn't want to go down that path, he didn't want to make her run a mile. He didn't want to have to lie to her again either, it would only come back to haunt him if he did. The sharp discomfort as the shards of glass were removed made him lose his thoughts, and he turned to look down at the wound. He didn't quite know what to say. "I'm...sorry?" he said sincerely.

Kristen glanced at Raul over the rim of her glasses and sighed. She reached a hand over to stroke his face. She finished with the glass and took out the surgical tape to do her best at patching him up.
She leaned over, kissing him softly before she said, "We'd best stay here tonight. And dont worry, I dont want to know what happened."
She took the box away, tossing the tweezers into the sink to be washed and sanitized later...

Raul was happy that she didn't want to know the story behind it. What she didn't know couldn't harm her, after all. Once it was all done, he took a look at his arm once more and smiled - for a principal, she didn't do a bad job at all, and he was sure he'd be fine in no time... to be certain, he'd get it checked out the next day too.
"OK.... and thank you" he replied, watching as she took away the first aid kit.

"You're welcome." Kristen smiled and took off her glasses. She set them on the coffee table as she sat down beside Raul again, this time sitting on the side without the cut on his arm. She carefully leaned against him, kissing his cheek before resting her head on his shoulder.
"So what do you want to do?"

When she sat next to him, Raul took his uninjured arm and curled it around her shoulder with a sigh. "A couple of things..." he replied, tilting his head to look at her "First I want to say how sorry I am for shocking you like that". The Spaniard kissed her tenderly on the forehead, and then once more on her lips.

"I forgive you." Kristen said eagery before kissing him back. It was true. She would have forgiven him for almost anything at that point. She was just glad to be with someone, and she cared a lot about Raul, even if it was a dangerous relationship...
While her kissed her, her hand trailed up his chest, caressing it tenderly...
