Don't Think I Can't (Rios/Ash)

the lifestyle was different. The world hand changed. But for two star crossed people. They sure had so much in common. He had been her angel. He saved her. She wanted to save him but she didn't know how. You hear the shower running and someone singing. It is a female voice. That voice must be Ashleigh. She is singing along with the radio. The door opens and Ashleigh walks out. she happens to be wearing a robe over her bra and panties. It feels so good to have a shower and be clean. Her hair was damp but you could see it start to get curly. She didn't know what it was but it felt nice to have a real home. She went into her room. It was a beautiful baby blue color.

Rios made her feel special. He bought her some clothes to wear. Ashleigh sat in front of a mirror. She started to do her make up. She saw her door open and their stood Rios he had something in his hands. Ashleigh couldn't tell what it was. But she was happy to see him. She stands up and goes and kisses his cheek.

Rios had opened the door and walked in. He was holding a deep red rose, and a box of expensive chocolates. "I thought you deserved a treat" Rios smiled, as she kissed his cheek. He flustered a little. Turning red. He had really grown to like her, and he couldn't stop showering her with gifts. He made his time with her worthwhile, as much as possible. He handed her the gifts, and kissed her cheek back timidly. He was always nervous around her.

She smiles smelling the rose. She looked way better. There were no bags under her eyes. She was clean and sober. She finally had a reason to be. She didn't know what to think. She really liked him but they were involved with two different families. Ashleigh was a little confused. But she didn't care. She put the rose in a vase by her bed. She smiles at him and then said with words so sweet " Thank you for all that you are doing for me. It is way too much for a girl like me. I mean you are doing so much for a woman you barely know." She didn't want to sound rude but she was completely nervous. She loved being with him and around him. He made her feel special. The last time she felt special was when she lived with her grandmother. She eats a piece of chocolate as she sit down on the big kingside bed she slept in by herself at night.

Rios sat down beside her, and ran a finger across her face. "You feel like i've known you my life" Rios smiled. He scooted closer to her. He was very timid around her, he was nervous about opening himself up like this. He felt the butterflies deep in his gut. He really, really liked her. But it was hard saying it.

Ashleigh didn't know what to say. There was something about him that felt like she knew him. She closed her eyes for a moment. She felt like she remembered his face. He looked familiar. But he couldn't have. She was only eighteen and just out of high school. Ashleigh re-opend her and smiled. " There is something about you Rios. i have never felt this way about anyone. I feel like I know you from somewhere. But I couldn't have. could I?" She said so sweetly. Ashleigh was a hopeless romantic. She couldn't help it.

Rios smiled at her. "You have that feeling? That makes two of us.." Rios smiled. He leant towards her hopelessly. He was just about to kiss her. His body was shaking, he felt a buzz in him. Like nothing he'd ever felt before. The Adreanaline. It made a heavy impact on him. He rested his head on hers.

She just smiled and then kissed him passionately. Her body shook as she kissed him. Ashleigh wanted to see if she really felt what she was feeling. Ashleigh lightly pulled away. that kiss made her a believe. He was worth changing for. He was everything she wanted. the only words she could says were " I Love you" Ashleigh didn't know where those words were coming from. She had never really felt this way. Yeah she said those words to Nico but that love was different . They loved each other but she didn't feel the connection she has with Rios.

Rios kissed her back gently. "I-I.. love you too" Rios shook with excitement. He was so full of joy. He kissed her again and again, and every one meant something to him. She was close to him than any other girl he knew. Their relationship had come on in leaps and bounds. He brushed a hand through her hair.

She smiled and held his hand. Ashleigh held his hand and said. " I have told people that I love them. but I have never felt real love. When i am with you I feel that real and true love. You make me feel special and loved" Ashleigh smiled as she stood up. She was still in her robe and she wanted to put on clothes. She went into her walking closet filled with loads of clothes. She was looking for the perfect outfit.

Rios felt her warm hand. When she walked off, he began fidgiting with the bed madly. He felt like he'd gone totally insane. He tried not to release all of the excitement, if he did, then he might make her think he was mad. He began to roll on the bed madly, trying to let off all the excitement and Adrenaline.

She walked out wearing tight denim skinny jeans, a silver faded glitter top, and black long sleeved off the shoulder top. When she came back Rios was sitting on her bed normally. She put on a bit of jewelry. She walked back to him and kissed him again. She couldn't resist his kiss or his touch

Rios put an arm around her body and pulled her onto the lying position on the bed. He kissed her back deeply. And moved his hands up and down her side. You could make out the words 'I love you' Inbetween the kisses Rios was giving. He couldn't help himself. He just felt this way when she was around. It was like something drew him to her. At least he knew the truth. She loved him back. And that's all he ever wanted to hear.
