Not too long after Giulio began to work, the Iron Workers Union they belonged too, came under the control of the Coppola crime family, and before Giulio knew it, he was an Associate with the Coppolas. Over the years, Giulio proved himself to the hierarchy. At the age of twenty-eight, Giulio married NYPD Detective Elizabeth Vecchio, and quite suddenly Elizabeth went from a legitimate Detective to a corrupt officer who worked in the interests of the Coppola Family.
