Raul was a regular visitor at Striker's gym. It was under the protection of the DeFazio family, and as such he liked to not only check up on how things were doing, but he liked to work out a few times a week when he could find the time in his schedule. He had been jogging a few blocks already, and so he reached the gym already warmed up and decided to head for the punching bags. It wasn't like he couldn't find a living bag to beat the hell out, but he had grew tired of disposing of bodies this week. Instead, he was going to settle for an inanimate object. With the rest of his gym gear already on, Raul dropped his bag off his shoulder and retrieved a pair of boxing gloves, which he slipped on over his hands while he approached the bag. Once he was there, he begun stretching a little before letting a few jabs fly. Today, he was just going to blow off some steam...

Leear had a long hard day, some days were always better than others, you never truly get over the death of a loved one, you just think about them some days and dont others, Leear hit the treadmill straight away and did some basic running at first softly thinking to himself how tomorow would be better, he run through his head what he needed, milk, cereal and bread. He tried not to think to much while on a treadmill but that never worked, always had a short attention span, he jumped off of the treadmil and hit the weights, he saw someone in the corner on the punch bags, Leear noded in appreciation, he had always loved boxing, Leear began lifting weights.

Raul continued a rhythmic pattern of punches and breaths, circling the bag as it swung gently on its chains. He was never a technical fighter; he was definitely no boxer - at best he was a brawler, but he rarely used his fists in a confrontation, his gun was always the first option. Why? It was a lot easier, for a start. He liked it to be clean and quick, unless it was someone he truly hated, and in that case he would probably go for their knee caps and then work them over when they were crippled. After one round on the bag, he paused for a moment to head for his bag again to retrieve a bottle of water, and it was then that he noticed Leear looking in his direction. He knew that face all too well... fucking cop through and through. Still, Raul gave a nod of greeting when he walked past. "Working off those doughnuts?" he commented slyly.

Leear smiled at him, he loved banter and didnt mind cop jokes, he wasnt a cop in his oppinion he was an FBI agent, made him feel more important "Nice punching, nice to see someone not using a gun, you spar often?" He asked nodding to the ring, he loved sparring and this guy had mafia written all over him, he wasnt mentioning anything to him, work was work, best not to get himself shot on a trip to the gym, he wasnt going to comment on the dohnuts joke, he just laughed a little, that reminded him he needed some food for his apartment, it was bare. Leear put his weight back up and sat up sweat dripping off him, he had a mouthfull of water and waited for the mans answer.

Raul smirked, slipping off one glove so that he could grab his water bottle. "Spar? Not really." he begun, pausing to take a drink for a few seconds " I wouldn't call it sparring". Of course, he was referring to the ass-kickings he dished out on a regular basis, outside of the gym. Raul liked to taunt people like Leear, or any cop or FBI agent for that matter. He felt pretty untouchable; so far he had committed a very long list of assaults and murders, yet he hadn't been caught for any of them, it was all good. "But if you are asking for a match... I couldn't pass up the opportunity" he replied, slipping his glove back on and fastening it securely " you've got guts, if that is your intent..".

Leear looked at him and smiled "Yeah im offering, lets have it then" He grabbed his water had another drink and then grabbed his two gloves, putting them on securely and having some practice jabs into the air "I was a good ammature boxers when I was younger, nearly went pro" He jumped on the spot, hed always wanted to kick the ass off someone in the mafia, now was his chance "Im leear by the way" He said walking over to the ring and climbing in.

Raul chuckled under his breath. He wondered if the guy really thought he was going to box fairly with him. Raul was a mafioso, after all, he wasn't know for a clean reputation, and as a non-Sicilian, he didn't always follow the code of honour and respect, at least toward federal agents. "But it's your funeral" Raul replied, heading toward the ring. He stepped through the rops and started to bounce on his toes slightly. This was going to be fun, whatever happened, he would have a chance to get some free shots off at an FBI agent... what a result! "Leear? Strange name..." he commented with a smirk. Raul wasn't going to offer his own name, why would he?

For a moment before the fight started, Raul wondered if Leear was the kind of pig to snitch on him if he lost - the sore loser type. But then again, Raul wasn't notorious for thinking things through, and so instead, he shoved those thoughts to the back of his mind and prepared to have some fun pummeling the guy. The Spaniard stood with a smug look on his face, patting the knuckles of one of his gloves with the tip of his other. Little did Leear know, but when Raul was putting his glove back on, he slipped a little something into the padding to give it a bit of an unfair advantage, so if the mafioso hit him, he would meet the business end of a piece of metal. The FBI agent should have known it wasn't going to be a clean fight.
When Leear swung a quick combination, Raul put his guard up, taking the hit to the body fair and square. It was a good punch, he'd give him that, and it stumbled him for a moment, but it was only going to fuel his counter assault. The hook was caught in Raul's guard, and then he quickly fired back an uppercut with the reinforced right glove. If it connected it would make a satisfying sound, if Leear managed to block... it was probably going to be a long and grueling brawl.

Leear managed to block the uppercut.....barely, as he movedhis head back to block it him in the chest and screamed in agony, that hurt, that was obviously reinforce "Bastard" he yelled stammering back, he was at the side for a minute but shook his head then went in fast making a low shot for the privates and then another shot for the face. If it was a fight the spaniard wanted he was going to get a fight.

Bastard. Those words were pretty satisfying to hear as Leear stumbled back, obviously caught out by the dirty move Raul had up his sleeve. Good... at least he got one nice hit on the FBI even if it hadn't been to his jaw, so Raul would be pleased regardless of what happened next. The Spaniard prowled back and forth while Leear recovered from the shot on the ropes, knowing well that he would be pretty pissed at the action and would no doubt lunge for some revenge. Raul would be ready, and with every shot he took he would only get more fired up... that's the way he was, somewhat sadistic when it came down to it. Pain just made him angry, and he enjoyed that side of himself... it always meant there would be action.
When Leear came back with a dirty move of his own, Raul was quick to defend his precious lower regions, but was caught out by the jab that followed, taking it on the chin and shaking it off. He had a strong punch, he'd be feeling a little swollen later on, that was for sure. Bringing his hands up as if to guard, Raul then let fly a brutal elbow toward the bridge of Leear's nose. The fight was on.

Leear got hit square in the nose by the elbow and fell back abit just gaining his blance again, it was a fight, Leear looked at him and his eyes filled up with anger, he went straight in low and hard throwing a few quick punches, a few to the stomach, one to the chest, one to the privates and then he went to headbut the dirty spaniard. Leear was so far pleased with himself in this fight, he hadnt been a ring since he was 17 and god had he missed it, he was enjoying this fight and it looked like the spaniard was too, he was a good fighter with a solid elbow, Leear was in for a tough night but so was he.

It seemed like this FBI agent had a thing for low blows... which was a pretty silly move in Raul's opinion. It left him wide open for some strikes to his head when he went down. When the flurry of body shots came, Raul tried his best to circle off, but got tagged by the shot to the chest, and boy did it hurt. But it wasn't as much as the headbutt that followed, and it made a nice cut across the bridge of his nose that started to trickle a little blood. Raul winced, but thought pretty quick, catching his gloves behind Leear's neck to pull his head down toward a quick knee, that would likely brake his jaw or nose if it connected. A few of Raul's associates started to gather around the ring to watch and cheer him on... nobody in this gym liked a cop, this was mafioso territory.

Leear grabbed his knee and managed too direct into his nose instead, lucky move for his jaw, not his nose, broke his nose straight away, it was bleeding, Leear wiped it and carried on, now extremely pissed "Gloves off!" He bit the strap of his glove, ripped it off and threw it out of the ring and then did the same to the other one. This was turning into a fight, they were all cheering the spaniard on, Leear loved the fans being against him, he wasnt planning on losing this fight.

Raul heard Leear's nose crack against his knee and smirked. He was happy he got revenge for the headbutt, but the fight still wasn't over. When the agent backed up and ordered the gloves to be removed, Raul nodded and tore at the straps, pulling his hands out and tossing the gloves to one side. So it was going to be a bare-knuckle brawl now? That was fine by Raul... boxing gloves were pretty restricting. " Fucking crazy cop " Raul spat, flexing his fingers before wiping away the streak of blood that was coming down his nose. Damnit, he was going to have that cut for some time, how annoying. "You got no business in this gym... after I kick your ass I don't want to see you here again, Capiche?". The crowd agreed and cheered, and this just made Raul pumped up some more. Even if he started to lose... there were a bunch of guys hungry to have a piece of the wannabe hero FBI agent.
