Serafina was going down the stairs, not willing to look back even though with every step it hurt her inside. She didnt want to leave, but she felt like she was suffocating. Her whole world was crashing down around her and she blaimed Giovanni.

Giovanni groaned and said again "Sera, come here." He didn't want her to leave him forever. He wanted to talk to her.

Serafina stopped partly down the staircase and turned around to look back at him.
"What is it Giovanni?"

Giovanni slowly walked down the stairs, and staring into Serafina's eyes, he kissed her and then breaking it, he said "Take as much time as you need. I'll be here waiting for you."

Serafina tilted her mouth up to his, breathing in his tender kiss and feeling it make her feel warm all over and shooting stars in her mind. How was it he had this hold on her shed never know. But as he pulled back and looked into her eyes and told her he'd be waiting she knew that she wouldnt be able to live without being near him.
After a pause she turned around and continued down the stairs.
A moment later, the sound of her car could be heard driving away...
