Serafina frowned, "Gio please!" When he stopped and took her good hand she sighed, "I'm sorry doctor."
The doctor nodded, but frowned. He didnt want any trouble with the mafia. He started to get things ready, calling for the nurse to come help them.
As they did, Serafina paled and looked up at Gio, fear in her eyes. She'd never had stiches before...

When Serafina scolded him, Giovanni frowned and muttered quietly "I'm sorry Sera." then he continued to hold her hand until they were prepared to stitch up Serafina. When she looked at him, with fear in her eyes, he stood up and walking towards her, he wrapped his arms around her and whispered gently "It's gonna be all right. I'm here with you." He couldn't stay mad at her.

When the nurse came towards her with the needle, Serafina turned her face into Giovannis neck and felt greatful to him for being there. She winces and took in a sharp breath when she felt the needle go in, and her other hand came up to hold onto Giovannis arm.
Then the doctor proceeded to stich her up and she continued to press her face against him, whimpering and trying not to full out sob.
Finally it was done and the nurse bandaged it up...

Giovanni held onto her for the whole time. If any of his men could see him at that moment they would laugh, but he didn't care. She was his wife. She was his love. When it was done, he kissed her forehead and said "All done beautiful."

The doctor smiled, "Alright. Heres a prescription for some pain medication and something to make sure it doesnt get infected." He filled out the papers and handed them over to Serrafina who put them in her purse.
"Thank you doctor." she said as he left.
After the nurse had left, Serafina turned to Giovanni and wrapped her arms around him for an embrace.

Giovanni returned her embrace and whispered "I love you so much. Don't you ever leave me. The only way you can leave me is if the Big Guy upstairs takes me or someone puts a bullet between my eyes."

Serafina shook her head and looked up to him to stroke his face with her good hand. "Dont talk like that. It kills me inside to think of something like that happening to you..."
Her eyebrows raised and she meant it fully. After looking into her eyes for a moment, she tilted her lips up to kiss him softly on the mouth...

Giovanni smiled and said "I won't talk like that anymore. I can't imagine myself without you." Then when she kissed him, he kissed her back, and then he broke it and said "You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Perhaps we could go on vacation to Sicily? I can leave the family in the care of Luciano or my brother Adriano if you decide to come with me. The only question then would be when."

Serafina couldnt believe her ears, and when he spoke about going away her stomach clentched.
"But.. but Gio you said you cant right now. The buisness is busy remember?"
Her arms remained around him, looking up into his face. She just didnt want to leave because she didnt want to be far away from Luciano...

Giovanni shrugged and said "For you and the kids, I can make time. I can manage, and besides I can still handle operations from Sicily. The FBI has no hold there. So, what do you say?"

Serafina looked down at is chest and swollowed, her mind trying to come up with something.
"I dont want to leave the children behind. Perhaps they and Luciano can come. Then you and I will have our alone time and the children will be looked after?" She looked up to him again with a small smile...

Giovanni shrugged and said "Of course. If that is what you want, by all means, let Luciano come. The kids, I planned on." Then Giovanni smiled and kissed her on her lips.

Serafina smiled and eagerly kissed him back, her arms wrapping fully around his neck.
"Thats what I want. Lets go away from everything here..."
After kissing him a few more times she whispered, "Take me home Gio."

"That's what I want. Let's go away from everything here..." Giovanni smiled and whispered "Of course. Let me wrap up the deal in Buffalo and then we can take a vacation." Then when she asked him to take her home, he smiled and replied softly "When your cleared to leave." Though despite his happy demeanor, he thought, so it is Luciano she has taken a fancy too. When the time is right, I will show him Vendetta Siciliano, Sicilian Vengeance.

Serafina didnt know what was going through Giovannis mind. But if she had her reaction would have been much different. She threw her arms around her husband again and kisses all over his chin, lips, and cheeks, leaving little lipstick marks. She truly felt appreshiative of him in that moment.
