"Thats not true, if you get any girl drunk enough and flash a few bills you could marry her in a day." He said sarcastically as he finished off his drink. He got the vibe that Rios was into Sera, obviously she was a bit more oblivious. He wasn't happy with that at all and was becoming more and more overheated. He undid the top two buttons of his shirt and rolled up his sleeves.

Serafina took her hands off Rios to frown at Luciano, not liking what he said at all. "Yes, but is that kind of girl really worth your time?"
She arched an eyebrow, waiting for his responce...
She could feel whever she was drinking starting to affect her...

When she took her hands off of him, the rush went. He had lost the strength and hope he had gained from her. He turned his head. "I don't like the sound of that plan Luc.. I don't want a Alcoholic girl" He muttered, you could sense the annoyance in his voice. He was more annoyed with himself for not speaking up to Sera. He had very strong feeling for her indeed. And it was only up to that point, did he fully realise that. He looked out the window, thinking about his family once more.

"Well can't win them all." He said as he put his empty glass down on the table and got up and left them alone as he headed over to the bar to order himself a few shots. He had been drinking more and more recently and although he had a high tolerance for alcohol, he was definitely feeling what was in his system. He made quick friends with the bartender behind the counter and had him take a few shots with him as they laughed.

Serafina watched Luciano leave and her eyes narrowed. She took another glass and downed the shot.
She turned back to Rios then and sighed patting his shoulder. "Everythings going to be alright Rios."
With that she tried to stand. "I should get going. Giovannis gonna wonder where I am if he comes home and i'm not there." She knew this was unlikely, but she didnt want to chance it. Besides, if she stayed any longer she might be forced to get upset with Luciano again, and she didnt want that...

Rios didn't want her too leave. "I'll tell Gio you were with me, he trusts me" He reached for her hand. He beckoned her to sit down, he didn't want to be alone. He knew Luciano was a snobby asshole. But he didn't want to show it, the little freak had annoyed Gio. Rios had no clue why, but Sera didn't seem to happy around him. Strange... Rios thought.

Luciano was almost completely wasted but knew that returning to the table would only make him jealous or even more talkative and sarcastic then he had been. He didn't want to be a dick around the two of them, that was the reason behind his move to the bar. He ordered another two shots of vodka for himself before looking over at the table where he noticed Serafina was standing, and a bit drunk looking.

Serafinas hand was caught by Rios, but she looked over to Luciano, her eyes catching his and she couldnt look away for a moment before she pulled her hand gently away from Rios and took up her purse.
"I'm sorry... but I really need to leave." She had drunk more than she meant to and was pretty tipsy...

Rios was drunk and couldn't bear it. "He bothering you? I'll kill him if it'll help" Rios yelled, trying to get her to come back. He had a low tolerance for alcohol, and normally never even finished a bottle in a day. Never mind him being on his third or fourth. He stood up, and followed her. "Please!" he begged. Hoping she would agree. He didn't want her to leave.

Luciano paid the tab for the table and decided to call it a night, he rather go home and drink alone where he could be within his own misery. He looked over at the table and saw Rios hand holding Seras. Sera looked directly over at him and he diverted his eyes and picked up his final shot and nocked it back before putting it down on the bar and heading towards the door.

"Ah!" Serafina whimpered, seeing Luciano was leaving her and it hurt her inside. She didnt want him to go just as Rios didnt want her to leave.
Without another word she slowly sat back down in the chair beside Rios and tried not to look as miserable as she suddenly felt...

He stood outside the place, not being able to drive, and not being able to take a cab. He hit some guy up outside for a cigarette and got a light. He barely smoke, pot was one thing but he was never into cigars and cigarettes. He slid down against the wall and sat on the ground next to an empty beer bottle. He took a long drag, allowing it to fill his lungs before he let it out slowly.

Rios saw her face. "What's wrong? You-r supposed to be happy" By now Rios was so drunk. His eyesight was blurry, and his aviators fell off. Revealing bloodshot eyes from the drink. He smelt like pure whiskey, and he was speaking jibberish. But even if he was sober, he would've called her back. He loved her. "I love you.." The words slipped out of his mouth, it was nothing he would've done if sober.

Serafina watched Luciano until he was out the door then she turned to face forward, her eyes brimming with tears. She wasnt paying attention to Rios at all until he said he loved her.
Suddenly she looked at him, "Oh Rios... dont do this..." She couldnt hold back anymore and she covered her face, the tears spilling over...
"I need to go home." She whimpered, feeling so weak and hopeless. She was in ove with a man she couldnt have, and her best friend just told her he loved her...

Rios began to worry. "What did I do? I-i This isn't how it goes" Rios stuttered, he felt so out of place. LIke it hadn't been abot him anymore. It was Luciano and Sera, he rested his head on the table and began to sob. He finally admitted it. And it didn't work out. He'd always told himself, that he would be with Sera one day. Caring for her. Loving her. He couldn't drink anymore, he felt empty.
