Giovanni smiled and muttered a "Thank you." For that was all he felt he could say at the moment. When Sera left, he just lay down on the bed and stared at the ceiling. Within the week, the train of Heroin was coming down from Montreal, and then Giovanni would have something else on his mind.

A few moments later Serafina returned with a large glass or ice water. After handing it to him, she went into her closet to change into a night gown and wash her face like she normally would before going to bed...
"Gio. I know this probably isnt the right moment to talk about this. But perhaps we should take the children and go somewhere for awhile? Maybe a cabin somewhere away from everything or something like that? It would give us a chance to be alone..."

Before he took a long sip from it, and then said "Sera, I don't know. If I leave I feel the DiLeonardos are going to become weak. But, I don't know...I really don't. But let us discuss this."

Putting lotion on her hands Serafina frowned into her reflection as she listened to him.
"Oh... well whatever is best for the family is more important. So we can put it off." She stood and walked back into the bedroom to climb into the bed beside him. She wanted to pretend like nothing earlier had happened and she was the good wife again, even though she felt incredibly guilty now for what went on between she and Luciano. But she'd make it up to Giovanni somehow.
Laying her head down she reached over to stroke her hand over his shoulder before she closed her eyes.
"Goodnight my love..."

"Oh... well whatever is best for the family is more important. So we can put it off." Giovanni frowned and finishing the glass of water he put the glass on the night stand, and said quietly "You and the kids are more important, it's just I don't want to leave the fates of my men hanging on a thread." Then when Serafina said goodnight he kissed her on her soft lips, and then whispered "Goodnight beautiful."
